The Secretary’s National Advisory Committee on Rural Health and Human Services (NACRHHS) has scheduled a public meeting for September 10-12. The meeting will be held in CHarlotte, NC, along with site visits to rural North Carolina. Information about NACRHHS and the agenda for this meeting can be found on the NACRHHS website.
During the September meetings, NACRHHS will discuss the issues of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, one of the leading causes of mortality in rural areas, and the provision of oral health services in rural areas.
