The Rural Health Information Hub (RHIhub), a RUPRI partner, celebrates it’s 15th Anniversary this month. RUPRI co-founded RHIhub with Dr. Mary Wakefield and the Center for Rural Health at the University of North Dakota in 2002 with funding from the Federal Office of Rural Health Policy at the Department of Health and Human Services. Since it’s founding RHIhub, which was previously called the Rural Assistance Center, has been a leading source of rural health and health population information, research, community best practices, funding opportunities and statistics.
RHIhub’s Director, Kristine Sande, shares her thoughts on the importance of RHIhub for Rural America. “The RHIhub has always been about making sure rural health folks can find, access, and share information, opportunities, and experiences. Every day since 2002, our staff has been searching for rural resources to share with you.”
