A White House Rural Forum Focusing on Results in Rural Communities and a Look Forward to What’s Next
Join the conversation with #RuralResults.
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, Chair of the White House Rural Council, will convene a White House Rural Forum at Penn State University to discuss the Obama Administration’s rural strategy, what worked, and how rural communities can continue building on the success of the past eight years. He will also urge policy makers, foundations, non-profits and the private sector to recognize the increasing opportunities for investment in America’s rural communities.
Vilsack will be joined by Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf, rural leaders and state and federal officials in this discussion of the economic drivers and quality of life issues in small towns and rural communities.
